Allah Almighty says in the Holy Quran Chapter 3 Verse 27:

Say, ‘O Allah, Lord of sovereignty, Thou givest sovereignty to whomsoever Thou pleasest; and Thou takest away sovereignty from whomsoever Thou pleasest. Thou exaltest whomsoever Thou pleasest and Thou abasest whomsoever Thou pleasest. In Thy hand is all good. Thou surely hast power to do all things.
Similarly Chapter 10 Verse 100 Allah Almighty States: “And if thy Lord had enforced His will, surely, all who are on the earth would have believed together. Wilt thou, then, force men to become believers?”
This is one of the many distinct features of Islam that Islam present an All-Powerful God without any weaknesses whatsoever.
Someone can say that this is a mere claim, like this tweet:
I can ‘clearly say’ that if I willed it I could fly to the moon. But unless I do it, it’s just an empty claim.
Like Allah’s in this instance.— DLAFO (@CARdinals_book) February 26, 2020
We believe that Allah Almighty has power to do all things because we have witnessed, over and over again, that whatever Allah Almighty wills, He does it and no one can stop Him.
Out of many examples, first example that I would like to present is how Allah Almighty dealt with the people of the elephant. Few months before the birth of the Holy Prophet pbuh, Abraha al-Ashram, King of Yemen, brought an army to demolish Qaba. The prominent feature of his army was elephants. Due to this reason, the year was named by Arabs the year of elephant.
Few things need to be understood while considering this great sign of might of Allah Almighty. Firstly, Allah Almighty has promised to safeguard Qaba, rightly called Bait-ullah (House of Allah), from all attackers, this promise stands tall for all times. Secondly, the Arab had no power to hold Abraha, so they left Mecca and declared the battle field is set between Abraha and Allah Almighty.
All Powerful, Allah Almighty stopped Abraha with His Might. Quran Chapter 105:
“In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful. Hast thou not seen how thy Lord dealt with the People of the Elephant? Did He not cause their plan to miscarry? And He sent against them swarms of birds, Which ate their carrion, striking them against stones of clay. And thus made them like broken straw, eaten up.”
Second example that I would like present is a promise of Allah Almighty in Chapter 15 verse 10: “Verily, We Ourself have sent down this Exhortation, and most surely We will be its Guardian. ”
There are two aspects of fulfilment of this promise, first completion of Quran in 23 years in spite of non-believers trying to (nauzbillah) kill the Holy Prophet pbuh. Second aspect is that the Holy Quran is in its original text written in the life of the Prophet pbuh and copied throughout the history. Even orientalists accepts that the Holy Quran is in its original text.
As a third example, I would like to present another promise of Allah Almighty, the Holy Quran Chapter 3 Verse 56, Allah Says:
“When Allah said, ‘O Jesus, I will cause thee to die a natural death and will exalt thee to Myself, and will clear thee from the charges of those who disbelieve, and will place those who follow thee above those who disbelieve, until the Day of Resurrection; then to Me shall be your return, and I will judge between you concerning that wherein you differ. ”
The promise of placing those who follow Jesus, Muslims or Christians, above hose who disbelieve, until the Day of Resurrection, is extremely power promise and only the All Powerful, Allah Almighty can maintain it. We have observed it so far and we can see the signs of its fulfillment till the Day of Resurrection. As Christians are losing their strength to Atheism, Allah Almighty has raised the Promised Messiah of the later days, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad pbuh, and promised him in the same words indicating that the new era of fulfilment of this promise will be through Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.
To conclude, Allah Almighty has proven over and over again that He is All Powerful, leaving us with no doubt in accepting His ability to enforce His will.
